David was a man who never met a stranger. Within minutes he could draw anyone into a conversation and probably convince you to purchase a one of a kind yard sale "treasure" in the process - whether you were at his yard sale or not! He made friends anywhere and everywhere and leave a lasting impression and a smile on all he met. He was also a man who loved to give far more than receive. You could often find him helping his friend Farmer Dave at the fruit and vegetable stand with a great eye for the best picks and you’d likely find an extra tomato or zucchini in your bag when you got home. If you were lucky, you were a recipient of one of his famous jars of “La La” Berry Jam – or apricot or strawberry… with a note; “Refills: Call David (714) 992-0636” . He could tell right away if you needed an “adjustment” and was a terrific amateur chiropractor and masseuse. He always knew the best deals on airfare anywhere and loved organizing get togethers with his high school alums. There are many things we will miss about David – his voice, his warm hugs, his gourmet breakfasts, crazy experimental margaritas, his socks with individual toes and so much more! David is survived by his mother, Corrin, his sister, Rachelle, his five children - John, Susan, Vickie, Michael, and Christopher as well as four granchildren and nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly. We welcome you to share your David Stories as well.
